What Is Bespoke Fitting?
Off-the-shelf sizing is designed for an average face. Your face is not average. Bespoke fitting is a personalised session with one of our frame specialists who will assess your facial geometry, skin tone, prescription requirements, and daily habits to narrow the entire OPTICA collection down to a curated shortlist — then fine-tune the fit on the spot.
Every bespoke fitting includes a complimentary nose-pad adjustment and temple alignment, performed in-house before you leave.
The Process
We begin with a 15-minute conversation about your lifestyle, prescription, and what you want your frames to say. Everyday wear, professional setting, outdoor activity — each calls for different priorities.
Our specialist assesses your face shape, pupillary distance, bridge width, and temple length. We also consider skin tone and colouring when recommending frame materials and tints.
From our full collection, we pull three to five frames that match your profile. You try each one — we guide you through what to look for beyond just "does it look good."
Once you choose, we adjust nose pads, align temples, and verify optical centration. Acetate frames are gently heat-formed for a contoured fit. You leave wearing them perfectly.

Your face changes — and so do your needs. Even if you've bought from us before, a new fitting session ensures your next pair is calibrated to who you are today.
Bespoke fitting is available in-store and takes approximately 45 minutes. No appointment fee. The cost of the session is fully credited toward any frame purchase made on the same day.
After Your Fitting
Your fitting profile — measurements, preferences, and selected frame — is saved to your OPTICA account. Future adjustments, replacements, or new purchases reference your profile so you never start from scratch.
We also offer a 30-day fit guarantee. If anything feels off after wearing your frames for a few days, bring them back and we'll re-adjust at no charge.
